With 7,099 items, people always ask which one is our favorite. The answer is easy: our vintage 1939 Coca-Cola Original Westinghouse Ice Cooler. It is the centerpiece of the room.

"Not only is it a beautifully preserved piece of history..."
Bardo and Olga Cuellar
What Makes It Special
This is a sample cooler: a smaller version of the classic red "Drink Coca-Cola, Ice Cold" store cooler. Pieces like this were made to show store owners what the full-size cooler looked like. Ours still has its original sales book, "1939 Coolers for Coca-Cola," sitting on top, which makes it even harder to find.
Full-size coolers like this one sat in stores and gas stations, where customers lifted the lid and pulled out an ice-cold bottle. Finding a piece from 1939 that has survived more than 85 years, with the embossed script and "Ice Cold" lettering still crisp, is special. It connects our collection to the everyday moments that made Coca-Cola part of so many people's lives.
What Else Is in the Room
The cooler is surrounded by vending machines, vintage signs, bottles and cans (some still unopened), cookware, cookie jars, trays, crates, and merchandise from nearly every era of the company's history. There are even handmade pieces that Bardo crafted himself.

We'll share more featured pieces here over time. Browse the gallery to see more of the collection.
