Sharing Our Record at the Coca-Cola Collectors Convention

This summer we traveled to Springfield, Missouri, for The Coca-Cola Collectors Club's 52nd National Convention, held June 28 to July 4, 2026. It was our first convention as Guinness World Records title holders, and it was a week full of friends, Coca-Cola treasures, and one very special moment on stage.

A Week of Everything Coca-Cola

If you have never been to a national convention, it is a collector's dream. The week included a welcome party, seminars on everything from Coca-Cola truck collecting to "What's It Worth," a silent auction and a regular auction, the club's famous room hopping (collectors open their hotel rooms to show and trade), a Memorabilia Show and Sale on the Fourth of July, and a closing banquet.

Play Ball: July 2

On Thursday night, the Coca-Cola club took over the ballpark. We showed up as Guinness World Records title holders to cheer on the minor league Springfield Cardinals with our fellow collectors.

Old Friends

One of the best parts of every convention is seeing our collector friends. We were so happy to spend time with our friends Beth and Jon. Rest in peace, Jon. We will always treasure this photo.

Auction Day: July 3

Friday was the big auction, and we had an amazing time in the auction room. There were so many very nice items. And yes, Bardo did win something! Believe it or not, he added lots of items to our Guinness World Records collection, so the count keeps climbing past 7,099.

Sharing Our Record on Stage

The highlight of the week was the chance to present at the convention and share our accomplishment with fellow collectors. Standing in front of the people who understand this hobby best, and telling the story of how a canister set from 1997 became a Guinness World Records title, is something we will never forget.

It was members of the club's Lone Star State chapter who witnessed our official count in 2025, so sharing the record with the club meant a lot to us. Thank you to everyone who came up to say hello.
